The meeting focused on the institutional and technical steps required to establish and implement the Register, as well as on strengthening cooperation and coordination between the two institutions. Discussions highlighted AKSHI’s technical support for the development and hosting of the Register, as well as its continued technical assistance to ensure its effective operation and use.
The National Register will serve as an important mechanism for managing and updating of information on licensed and authorized activities in the field of Cannabis.
Its implementation will support the digitalization of administrative processes, strengthen control and traceability mechanisms, and ensure high standards of data security and information management.
Following the meeting, the Agency and AKSHI will continue their cooperation to define and further develop the Register’s functional and technical requirements, including the categories of data to be managed, the processes to be supported electronically, and the functionalities required for its operation. As part of this process, a joint inter-institutional working group will be established to coordinate and monitor the different stages of the Register’s development and implementation.
Cooperation with AKSHI on the establishment of the National Register marks an important step towards strengthening the Agency’s digital infrastructure and ensuring the effective administration, control, and monitoring of licensed and authorized activities in the field of Cannabis.
