This cooperation aims for the strict implementation of Law No. 61/2023 by establishing a well-coordinated oversight system, where the parties commit to coordinating actions in inspection and monitoring to ensure that licensed and authorized entities operate in compliance with legal obligations and adhere to the highest national and international standards.
An important element of this cooperation is the establishment of an integrated structure for information exchange, risk identification, and rapid intervention in cases of violations, as well as ensuring effective collaboration for a secure process of verifying the integrity of the Agency’s employees and licensed or authorized entities.
NACC remains committed to contributing to the establishment of a robust oversight and control system, ensuring that the medical and industrial cannabis sector operates within the legal framework and is protected from any risk of illegal use.
